Keep Doing the Work: Getting Results using the Keys of Success
I have been engulfing myself in every piece of literature I can find on success. I want to be able to teach women how to get from where they are to where they are supposed to be. I am finding that there is not a secret to the keys of success but there are principles we can follow to get us where we need to be. Personally, I am not interested in just conveying principles that are already out there but it is more about taking the principles myself and putting them in action and producing some results.
Michael Jordan said this;
“I’ve always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come.” Results are what I believe women are seeking. Results empower us to take the next step. Results increase our faith. Results confirm that we are on the right track. We have to find out what works and what does not works.
The only art to finding out what works is by actually implementing a course of action and consistently work the plan until we see some progress. I believe God gives us all an inner announcement when it is time to let it go. And we have to trust the inner voice and move to the next option. That is one of the awesome things about walking in purpose. There is a freedom of implementation and trial and error that make the journey of success even more interesting.
It takes courage to follow your purpose. But it takes even more to stick with it when you see no tangible results. Today’s posting was a simply to encourage you to move forward in your journey of success. You define where it is that God is leading you. You then create activities around your journey. Those activities may not yield all the expected results but the actuality that you are putting some principles in action gets you closer then you are if you are not moving in your purpose at all.
