Before the clock strikes twelve

I woke up this morning with an unnerving excitement about some of the things that I had to put in place before the clock strikes twelve.  I believe that preparation is the catalyst that causes us to be presented with opportunities.  This should be apart of the woman’s daily devotion,  preparation equals opportunity.    We have to be ready for these opportunities otherwise we could find ourselves losing out on a opportunity or find ourselves not being able to manage an opportunity effectively when presented.   There is not a worst feeling than being presented an opportunity that could change your life and not being ready for it.  Or being bypassed for a promotion because you were not equipped to follow through.

Many women I am finding become overwhelmed in this visioning process because they have not taken the time to assess where they are and where they want to go.  You as a woman of purpose have to know what is that you want.  So I wanted to share some coaching exercises with you today that could help you as we embark upon the New Year!

#1 Define where you are and where you need to be in your life.

Look at both your personal and business challenges; ask the question, “How am I doing?” Then think about what is the milestone that will bring you where you need to be in each area.

#2 Create two lists.  The first list should include business goals and the second FAITH Goals.

Your business goals should have some specific results that you want to accomplish.  These results should be measurable.  Your faith goals are those things that are in line with the will of God.  Those achievements and desires that God is going to use you to advance the kingdom of God.

#3 For each of the goals you have listed in each area, create a process that will allow you to make those goals happen.

Your ability to make a step by step process for each goal almost guarantees completion of the assignment.

So I leave you with my last posting before the New Year!  Before the clock strikes twelve define where you are, where you want to go, create a list of faith and business goals, and last but most important create a strategic process that will ignite your implementation and guarantee the completion of the assignment.  Happy New Year!
