Aint No Stopping Us Now: 3 elements to finish 2009 on purpose
Today, as I was thinking about what to post to my blog. I begin to think about the fact that we way have less then ten days before the New Year comes before us. And those ten days although it may seem short, are crucial to women who are still trying to meet their deadlines and finish the assignments that were given this last quarter. I also understand that it is a possibility that most of us may not finish the assignment for several reasons. One reason can be just because of a lack of energy. This year alone many of us have faced so many downward spirals in our emotions as it relates to defining our purposes that the truth of the matter is that we are just plain exhausted just trying to stay focused on the plan. Secondly, some of us may not make it to the finish line because we found ourselves all over the place, meaning that we are still not clear of what it is that we should be doing in this race. And lastly, many of us did not start with the proper foundation that would have allowed us to be stable in the midst of our many challenges. This year for many businesses, many entrepreneurs and many ministries it has been very challenging. But there are some elements I believe the successful woman would have to embrace in her heart in order to continue to be productive throughout the end of this year.
#1 You have to be a woman who trusts in the one who gave the assignment.
The word Trust means to rely on to have confidence in, to be committed to. So if you are a woman that trusts in God alone you are no doubt a woman who is stationed, anchored, stable, and planted.
#2 You have to be a woman who has declared an unwavering hope in their purpose.
You are a woman that understands your purpose and you have incorporated a step by step action plan to help you get to where you believe you should be going.
#3 You have to be a woman who is flexible and willing to change.
Plain and simple things happen in our lives that will cause us to revaluate and make some adjustments to our current plan. If you see a change that needs to be made, seek Godly counsel, seek wise counsel from those who are in your industry if you are in business and make the change.
I challenge you to organize your thoughts and to refocus your plan on your purpose. As we come to the end of 2009 l am challenging you to begin to embrace the above elements into your work ethic and into your everyday living so that you can finish the year on PURPOSE.

I think for me its’ not so much as to finish my purpose. But, it is to realize truly what my purpose is. I praying on finding exactly what it is. So 2009 may just be a continuation of what I am looking for. If you know what I mean. Thanks great article.
