What’s on your List?
What’s on your List?
In coaching and mentoring women I find that many women become frustrated that their projects, businesses, or ministries do not seem to be making any real progress. The first question, I ask is, “What is on your list? What are you doing each day to make what God has given you happen?”
In any Business, in any ministry or personal development endeavor, one must be diligent in their affairs. Diligence is a key element to the success of your vision and or purpose. I have discovered that many women have been given the vision, that they have been given the plan, but they are not consistent in the maintenance or upkeep of it. Everyday we must do something that will bring us closer to the vision and our destiny. Each day there should be a list of things that we must do to keep us focused and to keep our business, ministry and even our thoughts organized. Checklists help us in being diligent and faithful to the plans of God. Your checklist should be concise and practical. I recommend that you print your checklist out place it near your workspace as a reminder of the tasks that must be completed each day.
John Maxwell, in his book, Put Your Dream to The Test, talks about his day to day strategy call, The Rule of 5’s. Each day you need to do five things that get you closer to the dream. He says, “The real difference between a dream and wishful thinking is what you do day to day.” I also give this small business strategy to all the women I coach. When you receive a piece of new information that is helpful in your business that you implement within 72 hours of receiving the information. Your desires, your dreams and aspirations can only be manifested when you do something each day throughout your journey.
