What are you waiting for?

Have you been waiting for that one ingenious idea, that marketing strategy, that one thing that would put your business, your ministry on the map? Have you spent your precious time searching in places that can provide no real answers? All of us have made attempts to take the short cut to finding the truth about our purpose.
Many of us seek out experts to help us find our way to the thing we believe we have been called too. We seek to know the purpose and plans for our future without first understanding that in order to receive revelation we must know HIM the one who knows all things. From his mouth come wisdom and understanding. I had an interesting conversation with my coach (Yes, I have a coach) we talked about why we believe that we’ve had all these technological advancements in the last 10-15 years. Why the various mediums of social networking are advancing at a rate none of us can seem to keep up with. I read an article that said that the use of Internet has taken its place as an essential utility in the home. Why would God allow such devices to emerge? What was HE thinking?
I believe he was being his relevant self. That like scripture HE is timeless. He understood that man would begin communicate on higher level platforms. And with that his message would need to be proclaimed via these mediums. The problem lies when will allow the world to understand the power and the use of these tools to create awareness about causes that they believe in, but we the believers will not take out the time to even educate ourselves on the many facets of the way these new devices could work to advance the kingdom.
We complain when hear that they are posting inappropriate content by way of the superhighway, but we have the same access to provide content that is Powerful for everyday living and wholesome for our families.
In about ten minutes you could have a fully functional blog application up and running spreading the Gospel to the world. Dreams, visions, new business ventures are all created through the birth of an idea. An idea planted in the hearts of women and men by the Spirit of God. The proverbs said that wisdom finds out witty inventions. The wisdom of God has the power to create a community of techno savvy believers spreading the Word of God. Wisdom knows HIM. Knowing his spirit. Knowing the TIMES! It is time for us to take our positions on the Internet Highway!
